BREAKING — Headlines abound as reports surge in regards to Jesus’ chosen Twelve. It seems Jesus gave them power and authority to drive out demons, cure diseases, heal the sick, and proclaim the Good News on their own.
The sad news, however, is Herod the tetrarch ordered John the baptist beheaded. Then, upon hearing what the Son of God was accomplishing, Herod tried to see Jesus due to rumors that John had resurrected as The Christ. Continue reading
BREAKING — Crowds gathered at the Jordan River today in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar. John the Baptist son of Zechariah was present, baptizing many into a new relationship with God. John is described as preparing the way for the expected coming Messiah. Known for his unconventional clothing made of camel’s hair and leather, John also consumes a unique diet of locusts and wild honey.
Sources reveal this wilderness man preached his aggressive message of baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. What he is not known for is a polite disposition. John slams members of the crowds with biting statements such as “You brood of vipers!” and “Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.” Continue reading

BREAKING — Last night Bethlehem shepherds (the exact number in their group has not been confirmed) tending over their flocks while living out in nearby fields, were terrified by what appeared at first to be an unexplained brilliant light source. BREAKING — Octavianus, who goes by the name Caesar Augustus, has decreed that a census be taken of the entire Roman world. The adopted son of Julius Caesar, Octavianus has taken the name Caesar as his own and combined it with the title Augustus which means great. Today, not far from the town of Bethsaida in Israel, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, gathered together in a grassy area, the Nazarene Man filled the stomachs of 5,000 men (total does not reflect women and children in attendance). The wondrous deed was not done through the typical process of planning and preparation of food, but was accomplished on-the-spot by His looking into the heavens and giving thanks!
For the last year this election cycle stampeded through every state in our country. During the process Christians humbly called on God for strength and wisdom. Now, data reveals over 80% of American Evangelicals voted!

Dear Father God,
I recognize your glory. As a Christian, I humbly acknowledge you as Creator of all things past, present, and future. I believe in the Trinity of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Are we ready to win back America? I know we have been in election battle mode for over a year now. Evil has viciously been pitting candidate against candidate, family against family, and friend against friend.
These past months have been tiresome as Christians maneuver to avoid the slings and arrows of satan’s struggle for power. But Christians, we are not called to maneuver, or to navigate or to retreat when it comes to confronting evil. We are called to do just the opposite. Continue reading
