Continue reading“When Baal (false god, demon) was unable to possess one generation of Israelites, he would focus on the next–the nation’s children. Since children represent the future, if he could take hold of America’s children, he could take hold of America. So by removing prayer and the Word from the education of America’s children, he was wakening the transmission of faith to the next generation. He could then separate the entire nation from prayer, from the Word, and from faith. By causing God’s ways to become alien to the nation’s children, he could cause the alienation of America from God.”

America’s Covenant With God – Lest We Forget
“Lest we forget” is a phrase commonly used at war remembrance services. It encourages not to forget tragic battles fought in the past, why/how those battles came about, and the men and women who fought those battles. “Lest we forget” refers to the need of remembering history–studying and understanding national situations surrounding war and peace so that we avoid war and live in peace.
America, lest we forget God, what will happen?
Continue readingAmerica, Let Us Revive Christian Morals
This post, the eighth in a nine-part series from Dr. Marshall Foster’s insightful book, The American Covenant – The Untold Story, reflects highlights from the last chapter of the book; specifically the need to get back to our Founders’ Christian foundation for America.
How did America loose its Christian morals in the first place? The process occurred slowly over time and Dr. Foster explains how:
Continue readingAmerica Arose From Christian Thinking
This post, the seventh in a nine-part series highlighting a specific topic from each chapter of Dr. Marshall Foster’s insightful book, The American Covenant – The Untold Story, documents the foundation of America based on Biblical principles. The background of America’s government as Biblically initiated by the Christian thinking of our founders is included throughout the book with the seventh chapter mentioning our founding documents.
Dr. Foster explains, “We have learned that self-government begins first with the individual aligning himself with the will of God, then caring for himself and others and applying Biblical principles to all areas of his life. A limited, representative civil government will not long survive without what George Washington called the pillars of America in his Farewell Address: ‘Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.'”

This post is the sixth of a nine-part series highlighting a specific topic from each chapter of Dr. Marshall Foster’s The American Covenant – The Untold Story, a book documenting the foundation of America on Biblically based principles. A vital portion of the sixth chapter of this book references property ownership; whoever determines how we use property is lord over us.
Dr. Foster gets straight to the point in the first paragraph of the chapter:

The American Covenant – The Untold Story
America’s Government Founded On Christian Principles
This post, the fifth of a nine-part series highlighting a topic from each chapter of The American Covenant – The Untold Story by Dr. Marshall Foster, verifies America’s foundation on Judeo-Christian principles in government.
Our founders, Pilgrims who used their blood and sweat to form America’s government, followed Biblical principles. Often overlooked in American history is the fact that the Pilgrims, before arriving in America, settled first in Holland for eleven years. It was there they learned and lived the teaching of Christian self-governing from their pastor, John Robinson.
Continue readingAmerica, Our Liberty Is Through Christ
There is no higher power than God from which Christians receive our internal liberty and external freedom. God’s truth is absolute. Biblical truth is what the Pilgrims believed and studied before departing England and Holland. This is why they rejected the king centered demands of religion in their homeland and studied scripture in Holland.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
This post, the forth of a nine-part series highlighting one topic from the chapters of The American Covenant – The Untold Story by Dr. Marshall Foster, is dedicated to how man receives liberty through Christ.
Continue readingOur Purpose In America
God, by His will, creates and purposes all things. The universe contains nothing unknown to Him and nothing can ever be new to Him for all things He creates are for His purpose.
Proverbs 16:4 The LORD has made everything for his own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster.
This post, the third of a nine-part series highlighting one topic from each chapter of The American Covenant – The Untold Story by Dr. Marshall Foster, is dedicated to man’s purpose in America.
Will America abandon God’s purpose for us?
Continue readingAmerica Acknowledges God’s Providence
Try as they might mainstream media and history books can not refute the truth: America acknowledges God’s providence. Documents referencing God’s providence are prevalent from the beginning stages of our emerging government and they are still available for review.
This post, the second of a nine-part series highlighting one topic from each chapter of The American Covenant – The Untold Story by Dr. Marshall Foster, is dedicated to God’s providence in America.
Many Founders such as the Pilgrims, those who did battle on American soil for freedom, and still others with occupations such as preachers, merchants, lawyers, and landowners who signed the Declaration Of Independence – were Christian. Of the 56 men who signed this historic document, nearly half (24) held seminary or Bible school degrees.
Clearly their instilled Christian faith affected the Founding Fathers as they referenced God in America’s birthing documents.
Continue readingRemember God’s History In America
I’ve been re-reading, “The American Covenant –The Untold Story”, by Dr. Marshall E. Foster. This post, the first of a nine-part series highlighting one topic from each chapter of Dr. Marshall’s book, is about America’s need to remember God’s relevance in our history.
A man of God dedicated to sharing the true history of America’s Biblical foundation Dr. Foster, who recently passed away, shares in his book passages from American documents and quotes from Founding Fathers. That information, along with in-depth history of the religious upbringing of many of our Founders, provides particulars regarding the Judeo-Christian foundation of America that history books have omitted from their pages.
America’s Founders, because of the dedication to our Creator, made covenants for this country with our Creator – yet our government and media ignore those specific covenants.
