Jesus wants you to know He is always available to you. No matter your circumstance, position in life or emotional state, Jesus is never far. Jesus is a constant, not an acquaintance or part-time-friend. He’s simply a thought or a whisper away. In fact Jesus is knocking at your door, right now, waiting for you to invite Him into your life.

 Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

5 Instructions From Jesus

God blessed the world with the Bible for us to follow. It’s through the gospels we find instructions given to us directly from Jesus, and throughout the New Testament those same instructions are repeated by various writers.

In the short book of James, written by Jesus’ half brother James, we find each of it’s five chapters give specific messages on how to live a Christian life.

At the time of the writing Christians were scattered throughout the Roman world, so James wrote his letter to encourage the dispersed followers to not falter. Although the Bible does not offer much information about James being intricately involved with Jesus before the crucifixion, we find after the resurrection James clearly becomes a leading figure in the early church and shares these five instructions from Jesus.

Do you know at all times God is present everywhere? No matter your location or situation in life there is no barrier that can separate you from God. And because nothing is ever hidden from God, He knows everything there is to know about you.  He knows your highs and, through times of trouble such as world is experiencing right now, He also always knows our lows.

Yet through His daily process of planning, creating, and sustaining life, God also continues to devote time to loving each one of us individually. “How does He accomplish this?” you may ask. The answer is God is not only present everywhere knowing everything, but God also does everything at all times.

God is a multi-tasker who’s very good at fixing problems– if you’ll just let Him!
