The Holy Body Of Jesus Shed Blood For Us 7 Times.

During the sacrifice of Jesus as atonement for our sin, Jesus willingly shed His blood 7 times for the salvation of mankind. And each time His precious blood flowed, a freedom was returned to us. Read how Jesus’ holy blood redeems you and sets you free from bondage.

Be Thankful

Be Thankful

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,

that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,

but to save the world through him.

I pray God blesses you, gives you strength, and your faith in Him expands so that you trust Him with all areas of your life.—Debra

Jesus Offered Thanks To God

Jesus offered thanks to God

Offering Thanks

Two thousand years ago not far from the town of Bethsaida in Israel, along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, a Nazarene Man filled the stomachs of 5,000 men (total does not reflect women and children in attendance) who gathered together in a grassy area.

How did He do it?

The wondrous deed was not done through the typical process of planning and preparation of food, but was accomplished on-the-spot by the Nazarene looking into the heavens and giving thanks!

debrapedrow.com-46

With Thanksgiving approaching, November is the traditional month to give thanks for our blessings.

Though Christians continually offer thanks to God in prayer everyday, it is good to delight in the the much anticipated gathering of this special holiday. The idea of planning a seasonal menu, decorating with nature’s bountiful gifts, and welcoming family and friends around the dinner table inspire us during this notable month to give thanks to God for all His goodness .

Try not to be overwhelmed this holiday season with the details of a perfect gathering, and instead try to focus on the reasons we need to give thanks to our perfect God. Continue reading

JESUS Is Calling YOU!

Jesus is calling you

Some people erroneously believe they must clean up their lives before coming to Jesus. They are sadly ashamed of their past: the dirty baggage they carry, the scars they created or endured, the hidden hurt laying on their hearts. They allow past sin to bind them.

If you are one of those misinformed souls not familiar with the Good News, let me share with you the truth Jesus taught and lived by some 2000 years ago. I know 2000 years seems long in the human time frame, but have no worries –

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Continue reading

President Trump’s Positive Christian Agenda

President Trump's Positive Christian Agenda

Some may not like his style, but facts are facts and one can not dispute Donald Trump is accomplishing much needed objectives for those of Christian faith.  No, I would not want him to take the lead as my Bible studies teacher; that was not the reason I voted him into the oval office.  Religious teaching is not one of his gifts. Business sense, leadership and making deals are President Trump’s gifts.

Writing as someone blessed not as one included in a “basket of deplorables”, and under my own initiative with no order from my husband, I respectfully believe one day a “powerful woman”  with America’s interest at heart will  lead this country.  But today, I am thankful for  President Trump.

Had Mr. Trump not been elected, many changes for the betterment of religious living would not have occurred. Listed are a few prominent ideas that the Trump Administration placed in effect. Continue reading

Thank-you, Jesus!

Thank you Jesus

When was the last time you thanked Jesus?

Was it last night, after your feet snuggled warmly under the covers? Did you thank Him for giving you another twenty-four hours to share His love?

Or did you thank Him this morning, before those same feet hit the floor? Did you acknowledge allowing your eyes to see the sun rise; enabling you to make right any wrongs you committed yesterday?  (FYI, as I’m writing, I thanked Jesus for my MS.)

Ephesians 5:20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Continue reading

Communion On The Moon

Communion on the moon

On July 20,  1969, the world witnessed Apollo 11 mission commander Neil Armstrong walk on the moon. Hours before this planned and historic event occurred, Buzz Aldrin, Lunar Module Pilot, carried out another planned and historic event on his own.   Colonel Aldrin took communion on the moon.

The following excerpt  from Buzz Aldrin’s 2009 book, Magnificent Desolation, offers background  to this holy occasion: Continue reading

Thank The LORD, Today!

Thank the LORD, today!

Happy Thanksgiving! What a wonderful day to remember and be thankful for the promises of God, what He did for His people, and to acknowledge we believe He is here for us always!

1 Chronicles 16:34 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

In the Bible, the phrases “Give thanks to the Lord” and “his love endures forever” appear often. They can can be  found in these verses from the New International Version Bible: Continue reading

America’s Time For Healing

America's time for healing

For the last year this election cycle stampeded through every state in our country. During the process Christians humbly called on God for strength and wisdom. Now, data reveals over 80% of American Evangelicals voted!

Romans 15:5-6 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Continue reading
