“Revival normally begins among God’s people, but before long, like water surging through a broken levee, revival overflows and spills into or society.”– Pat Robertson, Six Steps In Spiritual Revival (2002)

Christians, Pray For America–April 30, 2023
It was 160 years ago, as the turbulence of the Civil War was destroying American cities, separating family units, breaking the economy, and positioning church against church, President Abraham Lincoln issued the second of three proclamations for our country per request of the United States Senate.
The proclamation was for a Day Of National Humiliation, Fasting, and Prayer, scheduled for April 30, 1863.Continue reading
America – Trust Jesus
The mid-term election is over. Men and women – candidates from every state – declared what they stood for and what they would do to improve our country…they all made promises.
We Americans, after looking for truth in those declarations made by the candidates, voted for who we thought would best serve our nation.
Will their political promises be kept? Track records reveal political promises made before elections have not always been kept after the election is finalized. Promises made…but unkept…indicate trust was broken. For any nation to succeed it must have trust in Someone…Someone who is fully truthful…
Christians Can Direct America’s Future – Vote
As Election 2022 comes to pass may we remember to praise His holy name, praise God for the nation He has given us to grow and abound in His presence. Praise Him for past and present leaders and for our 2023 leaders forthcoming for “he deposes kings and raises up others” as He chooses. Praise Him in advance for giving us wisdom to select our leaders just as He did Moses and the Eleven.
Americans, 64% of which proclaim to be Christian, can change the negative road our nation is traveling on in this next election.
America, Be Wise In Choosing Leaders
A General Election is scheduled in America for Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Citizens will vote on all 435 seats in The House Of Representatives and on 35 of the 100 seats in the Senate. Governors will be elected in 36 of our states and in 3 American territories.
Our Forefathers and Founders fought hard, sometimes to their death, to create a land “with liberty and justice for all.” While doing so they chose leaders, “men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain”, as instructed by the Bible. America grew strong with leadership from these men.
Our Forefathers and Founders, overwhelmingly Christian, were wise in choosing Christian leaders lead by Biblical morals.Continue reading
America’s Covenant With God – Lest We Forget
“Lest we forget” is a phrase commonly used at war remembrance services. It encourages not to forget tragic battles fought in the past, why/how those battles came about, and the men and women who fought those battles. “Lest we forget” refers to the need of remembering history–studying and understanding national situations surrounding war and peace so that we avoid war and live in peace.
America, lest we forget God, what will happen?Continue reading
America, Let Us Revive Christian Morals
This post, the eighth in a nine-part series from Dr. Marshall Foster’s insightful book, The American Covenant – The Untold Story, reflects highlights from the last chapter of the book; specifically the need to get back to our Founders’ Christian foundation for America.
How did America loose its Christian morals in the first place? The process occurred slowly over time and Dr. Foster explains how:Continue reading
America Arose From Christian Thinking
This post, the seventh in a nine-part series highlighting a specific topic from each chapter of Dr. Marshall Foster’s insightful book, The American Covenant – The Untold Story, documents the foundation of America based on Biblical principles. The background of America’s government as Biblically initiated by the Christian thinking of our founders is included throughout the book with the seventh chapter mentioning our founding documents.
Dr. Foster explains, “We have learned that self-government begins first with the individual aligning himself with the will of God, then caring for himself and others and applying Biblical principles to all areas of his life. A limited, representative civil government will not long survive without what George Washington called the pillars of America in his Farewell Address: ‘Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.'”Continue reading
God Has Property Ownership Of America
This post is the sixth of a nine-part series highlighting a specific topic from each chapter of Dr. Marshall Foster’s The American Covenant – The Untold Story, a book documenting the foundation of America on Biblically based principles. A vital portion of the sixth chapter of this book references property ownership; whoever determines how we use property is lord over us.
Dr. Foster gets straight to the point in the first paragraph of the chapter:
“If we do not settle this issue and settle it soon, what is left of our estates, our families, and our religious liberty will be confiscated by humanist State.”The American Covenant – The Untold Story
America’s Government Founded On Christian Principles
This post, the fifth of a nine-part series highlighting a topic from each chapter of The American Covenant – The Untold Story by Dr. Marshall Foster, verifies America’s foundation on Judeo-Christian principles in government.
Our founders, Pilgrims who used their blood and sweat to form America’s government, followed Biblical principles. Often overlooked in American history is the fact that the Pilgrims, before arriving in America, settled first in Holland for eleven years. It was there they learned and lived the teaching of Christian self-governing from their pastor, John Robinson.Continue reading
