Dr. Marshall E. Foster, Good And Faithful Servant

America recently lost a great man of God, a scholar and patriot, Dr. Marshall E. Foster. First and foremost a devout follower of Christ, Dr. Foster had a special love for learning and sharing the true history of the United States. This passion lead to creating paths for Americans to better understand the Christian foundation our Founding Fathers built this country upon.

From his beginning service to our Lord as a young college student with Campus Crusade for Christ to one of his last projects (which I eagerly participated in each night) when he worked with Kirk Cameron in 2021 on the 100 Day American Campfire Revival, Dr. Foster remained a good and faithful servant.

Matthew 25:23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

Dr. Foster was in charge of many projects. His education, training, story-telling and speaking abilities, his love for America, and especially his zeal to follow God’s word, all contributed to his success communicating to the world what Christian liberty is really all about. He shared the truth through movies, a weekly syndicated radio broadcast titled “The Story of Liberty”, lectures, sermons and his foundation – The World History Institute.

Currently, I am re-reading his book, “The American Covenant – The Untold Story”. There is simply too much important information and historic Christian-American facts to digest in one read alone.

A while ago I learned Dr. Foster was ill, battling cancer, however, I was still shocked and deeply saddened when I saw Kirk Cameron’s post sharing news about the death of his friend, this dedicated man of God.

Dr. Foster, thank you for using all your godly gifts to bless those of us who were uneducated in the truth of America’s founding history. You remain an inspiration for me to continue writing posts that glorify God’s definition of liberty for men and women in American.

Don’t miss out on reading Dr. Foster’s historical book, “The American Covenant – The Untold Story”. One of many places you can purchase it is from Kirk Cameron’s site. They were good friends sharing a deep commitment to providing our country with biblical information that America’s school history books choose to omit.

Also, Dr. Foster’s book was central to Kirk Cameron’s 100 Day American Campfire Revival which Cameron did nightly from his backyard or from wherever he was as he traveled for work during that time. Dr. Foster made several appearances on Cameron’s Campfire Revival and I eagerly watched and prayed for revival every night.

One of the reasons Marshall Foster wrote “The American Covenant – The Untold Story” is because:

“To put it bluntly, we have forgotten the covenant that our Founders made with our Creator. Its very meaning has been canceled by a secular elite at war with the truth.”

Dr. Marshall E. Foster

Dr. Foster’s life was planned by God with purpose and he executed that purpose well: to share his learned knowledge of Christ, including truths of America’s biblical Judeo-Christian foundation.

Our Founders also had purpose, planned by God: to establish this new forming country on biblical principles and, to share the gospel of Christ with all who live here. However, through time, existing local and federal governments have chosen to ignore the Founders purpose.

We, those who are Christian, would be negligent of our own purposes planned by God, if after reading The American Covenant, we set aside this informative book and allow its contents to remain silent.

Christians, as you keep Marshall Foster’s family in your prayers, may you continue to pray (everynight at 9:00 PM EST) for America to remember the Christian principles this country was built upon.

Just as Dr. Foster did, may America never stop standing up for Christ.

—-August 24, 2022 starts a nine part weekly series on The American Covenant – The Untold Story.
