BREAKING — It has been confirmed a local carpenter was visited by an angel last night. Holy documentation reveals Joseph descendent of David, was struggling with a unique problem at the time of his encounter. Through a personal dream this man from Nazareth understood and carried out a divine message that will forever change the world!
Residents from this small village of Nazareth (population approximately 200), located within the province of Galilee and a good five day walk from Jerusalem, are well aware of the fact that Joseph is engaged to another Nazarene, a young virgin named Mary.
Mary, known as an obedient child of God is quoted as saying “I am the Lord’s servant.” Joseph, also faithful to the law, is a man of integrity evident through his devoted and kind heart.
It has been found that Virgin Mary is pregnant, though not to Joseph.
Upon hearing the news, Joseph chose not to publicly disgrace Mary but planned to divorce quietly. Outsiders of ancient Jewish custom may be unaware that though their ceremony had not yet been preformed nor the marriage consummated, the initial betrothal of a couple (normally made by the parents or families) already considered them binding as husband and wife.
Unfortunately, law also states the only official way to divorce at this time in Israel is to go before local elders. In this situation that board would consist of men from Nazareth. However, applying to the elders promotes knowledge of Virgin Mary’s circumstances and most definitely will result in public humiliation. There is also the likelihood she will be stoned to death.
Enter the angel.
Sources close to Joseph believe these undesirable scenarios weighted heavily upon Joseph’s mind at the time he chose to sleep and directly preceding his dream comprised of an angel.
Amid Joseph’s inert indecision, the angel is quoted as saying:
Unbiased documentation reveals Joseph son of David, faithful to the law, a man not wanting to expose virgin Mary to public disgrace , publicly went against social norms. Critics say Joseph’s consent to marry a pregnant woman (who he knows is not pregnant by him) will surly arouse doubt about Joseph’s own innocence in the current situation and undoubtably cast social stigma throughout their married life.

At this time it is reported Virgin Mary has gone to the hill country in Judea to visit her cousin Elizabeth. Elizabeth is also with child. When the baby in Elizabeth’s womb heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
In her own words Elizabeth exclaimed, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”
Elizabeth’s statement reveals the holiness of the child Mary is carrying by proclaiming the presence of the Lord within that child. This personal visit sheds more evidence to the fact that the child is not Joseph’s biological son. Exposing more agreement on the predicament Joseph was facing.
There can be no argument that this messenger of God is the true source in solving the betrothed Joseph’s dilemma. Experts say despite the whirlwind situation of a virgin conception, when Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.
Future history will reveal this obedient act of Joseph to be part of God’s divine plan for the arrival of our Savior, Jesus Christ!
