Job was a wealthy man of God. Ask and it will be given.
When Moses lead the Israelites at the foot of Mount Sinai, they witnessed daily the sacrifices given to God (Exodus 29:38-46) at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. An Israelite brought an animal to be sacrificed, placed his hand on the animal’s head to symbolically transfer his sins to the animal for atonement, then watched as the Levite priest slaughtered the animal. A friend brought to my attention a recent article, “John Hagee Calls For “Prosecuting Women Who Say God’s Name During Intercourse”. Written by Lea Vat Kens, June 15th 2015, NEWSLO Just Enough News. Because my blog focuses on lifting up God’s name, I’d like to comment on this controversial interview.
Pastor Hagee, founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, stated “One of the things that the Bible has consistently denounced is the taking of the Lord’s name in vain.” Christians, we know this statement is rooted on the third commandment, written in stone by the finger of God. It is a biblical truth; we are instructed to keep God’s name holy.

Our holy Father’s son, is God’s Word in the flesh. Jesus came to us to demonstrate God’s Word through His love for us. His was baptized around the age of thirty (Luke 3:23), and His ministry lasted approximately three years. In that short span of time, Jesus selected a devoted group of twelve disciples.
