Editorial Cartoonist mocks God

Recently I posted, Christians, Claim Your Identity!, noting how Hollywood, again, poked fun at Christians during the Emmy Awards: “She says she doesn’t like watching white award shows because you guys don’t thank Jesus enough. That’s true. The only white people that thank Jesus are Republicans and ex-crackheads.”—Michael Che, referencing his mother.

Of course the flood gate of God-haters in Hollywood will never be totally closed until the return of Christ. So for now, Christians must continue swimming through Hollywood’s muddy waters. And sadly,  just as murky mainstream Hollywood has no conscience for attacking Christians as a group, a certain God-mocking editorial cartoonist also has no problem publicly directing a penned attack at one little believing girl. President Trump's Positive Christian Agenda

Some may not like his style, but facts are facts and one can not dispute Donald Trump is accomplishing much needed objectives for those of Christian faith.  No, I would not want him to take the lead as my Bible studies teacher; that was not the reason I voted him into the oval office.  Religious teaching is not one of his gifts. Business sense, leadership and making deals are President Trump’s gifts. 

Writing as someone blessed not as one included in a “basket of deplorables”, and under my own initiative with no order from my husband, I respectfully believe one day a “powerful woman”  with America’s interest at heart will  lead this country.  But today, I am thankful for  President Trump.

Pray in schools or prayer in schools

60 years ago in 1958, Steven Engel from New York brought parents together and made the decision to sue the state over a state authorized prayer in public schools. That case made it to the United States Supreme Court in 1962, where they decided it violated the First Amendment because prayer represented establishment of religion. Engel won.

Then Pennsylvania, in 1963, decided on the case of Abington School District v. Schempp; a complaint made by Schemp to stop Bible readings in public schools. Schempp won.

Also in 1963 came the verdict of Madalyn Murray O’Hair against the Baltimore School System to ban school prayer labeling it “unconstitutional”. O’Hair won.

As a Christian, I believe government made the wrong decisions in all three of these cases, which directly affect core foundations for our children. Continue reading →

Election Day is November 8.

Are we ready to win back America? I know we have been in election battle mode for over a year now. Evil has viciously been pitting candidate against candidate, family against family, and friend against friend.

These past months have been tiresome as Christians maneuver to avoid the slings and arrows of satan’s struggle for power. But Christians, we are not called to maneuver, or to navigate or to retreat when it comes to confronting evil. We are called to do just the opposite. Continue reading →
