AMERICA – Declare God’s Worth

God alone is worthy of all praise. He is God, majestic and mighty. Like everything else, America’s days were created by Him before our nation came into being. God has a perfect plan for America, surrounded in love, detailed and intertwined through its hardworking citizens. Regardless we accept His plan or not, God is worthy of all praise.

Acceptance to the plan means obedience. Obedience may sometimes be hard, but God is very worthy because He is also very good. For every blessing God has already bestowed upon America (Can they even be counted?), we gain confidence He is faithful to do it again.

Americans should be like the prophet Jeremiah:

Speak out and clearly declare God’s worth to our nation.

Jeremiah 10:6-7 No one is like you, LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. Who should not fear you, King of the nations? This is your due. Among all the wise leaders of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you.

God was there when this great country was birthed, worthy is His name.

Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Throughout history, God rose up great Christian leaders in our country to fight for the freedom, justice, and equality God provides. Those leaders, chosen by God, knew God is worthy.

“It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and to humbly implore His protection and favor.” – President George Washington

“We cannot read the history of our rise and development as a nation without reckoning with the place the Bible has occupied in shaping the advances of the Republic….Where we have been truest and most consistent in obeying its precepts, we have attained the greatest measure of contentment and prosperity.” – President Franklin D. Roosevelt

“Use me, God. Show me how to take who I am, who I want to be, and what I can do, and use it for a purpose greater than myself.” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Washington, Roosevelt and King worshiped the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They knew His power was what was required in them to accomplish the historic tasks set before them. Though satan’s arrows attacked, these men gave God the glory to accomplish their goals of freedom, justice, and equality. Worthy is God whom they served.

Psalm 100:1-5  Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Satan’s arrows never stop, they continue to attack our basic principles.

So that America may forever be the united nation our great leaders envisioned and fought for, may the citizens of the United States emulate their words to: “…acknowledge the providence of Almighty God…”, “reckoning with the place the Bible has occupied in shaping the advances of the Republic…”, and “Use me, God.”

Through history nations rise and fall. To God be the glory for He alone is worthy America the beautiful’s ideals stand firm.

“God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior.
