Missing Boy Savior Found At Local Synagogue!

Missing boy savior found at local synagogue!

Post #3 As Reported From The Book Of Luke

BREAKING — Local Nazareth couple the Virgin Mary and her husband Joseph the carpenterwere distraught over the disappearance of Mary’s pre-teen son Jesus the savior. The couple has been in marital bliss for twelve years. Mary’s son Jesus is also twelve years old; though records affirm Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit following her engagement to Joseph.

Joseph son of David, faithful to the law and a man not wanting to expose virgin Mary to public disgrace , went against social norms and kept Virgin Mary as his own. This decision was made after an angel visited Joseph in a dream and through a divine message explained the child would forever change the world!

Local Jews Travel For Passover.

Joseph and Mary are known to follow Jewish law. Per Jewish custom, Jews travel to Jerusalem in the spring for the important Festival of the Passover, a commemoration of their liberation by God from slavery in Egypt and their freedom as a nation under the leadership of Moses. Passover day is then immediately followed by the week-long Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Along with Joseph and Mary, many residents from their small home town village of Nazareth (population approximately 200) located within the province of Galilee and a good five day walk from Jerusalem, were traveling with Mary’s family at the time the young man was found missing.

Details Of Missing Savior.

Sources reveal families travel in caravans to and from the festival. So the fact that Jesus was not found missing until a day into the return journey to Nazareth would come as no surprise to locals. At twelve, he is considered a young man and men are to walk at the rear of the traveling group. However, at this age he would still be welcome to travel with the women and other children in the front. Thus the confusion of where the young man was stationed as He traveled within the group.

When He was found missing, Mary and Joseph returned to Jerusalem. Eyewitnesses reveal: After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.

Parent’s And Savior’s Interaction.

Bystanders acknowledged His parents were astonished at what He was doing. They witnessed Mary approach Jesus and overheard her inquire:  “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”

Eyewitnesses also report Jesus, the confirmed savior of all nations, offered His unquestionable response to His mother’s inquiry, as found in Luke 2:49: “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”

Though Jesus’ earthly parents are well aware of the fact that Jesus will save people from their sins, they still did not understand what He was saying to them in this straight forward response. After this family heart-to-heart communication session ended, it was disclosed Jesus the obedient Son, returned with His earthly parents to  their home in Nazareth.

Future reports indicate Jesus spends the next eighteen years of His life growing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and Man.  He did this while living with His mother Mary, her husband the carpenter Joseph, His brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas, and all His sisters.
