It’s not unusual for writers of movies, television shows, and forms of media to mock Christians hearing the voice of God.
Oh, how sad for those writers.
When God speaks, His voice offers truth. Those who are blessed to hear His holy word, then affirm it to others, walk a path to righteousness. God’s word, the written word and those specific words He shares individually, is not useless foolishness or babble as some make it out to be.
When we are blessed to hear His voice we learn His teachings, His faithfulness, love, and His steadfastness.
God’s voice is not limited to being verbal; His voice appears in many forms. The more we know God and commune with Him, the more we are open to His voice in many forms. It appears in a helping hand, a comforting smile, the Sunday sermon, and often – it appears in that still small voice after prayer.
Actually, one finds God’s voice is projected physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Do not deny God when you do hear His voice, for He always leads along the right path.
Isaiah 30:21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."
