Claim Revival For Christ

We need a true revival for Christ.

  • revival [rəˈvīvəl] NOUN a reawakening of religious fervor,

There is no name above His holy name. None have authority superior to our savior, Jesus, who left His thrown in heaven to walk amongst us.

Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

As a follower of Christ, claim revival in His name!

We need a reawakening for Christ; to forgo the pleasures of this world (they are short lived), and strive for the eternal. The Hebrew leader Moses, considered the most important prophet of Israel, thought it better to live with his eyes on God’s Word – refusing to partake in the sinful ways of the day – and focus on the promises of God.

Hebrews 11:24-26 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward.

A revival of wakening our religious fervor also frees us from bondage of indecision, which offers no glory to God. To be sure, if we are indecisive for Christ, making no commitment for or against Him, God views us then as unbelievers.

Revelation 3:13-16 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

It’s important that believers live as believers. Don’t live as though we don’t know what Jesus taught us. But instead be Christ’s living example here on earth, thus awakening our true passion for Christ, thus encouraging the growth of revival for Christ.

1 Peter 2:21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

Are you uncertain if you are a follower of Christ?

If you’re uncertain you’ve ever invited Jesus into your heart – now is the perfect time. Pray this sinner’s prayer found at Gotquestions.com. Only through Jesus Christ can you receive the redemptive hope that He alone offers.

“God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!”
