Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
America, if we want to stay right with God, Jesus tells us He is the only way to having a personal relationship with the Father. In fact by His stating “I am,” Jesus is revealing His holy identity.
The phrase “I AM,” makes it clear to all that Jesus is claiming to be more than a rabbi or prophet; Jesus was claiming to be the Messiah—God come to earth as man.
America, if we want a closer relationship with God, if we truly desire to know Him better and Him to know us, we need a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the way for us to have a relationship with God because Jesus shows us the truth about God in the way that He lived. Jesus revealed God to us during His ministry here on earth; then Jesus gave up His life on the cross so that anyone who believes in Him could have eternal life.
Knowing Jesus is the only way for any person, or any nation, to have a relationship with God. And for our nation to remain powerful and continue to receive God’s blessings it’s important that we remember our forefathers believed in this truth. Our forefathers, since 1620, birthed and built the United Stated on God’s word.
We started with the Mayflower Compact.
From the beginning, before America had established states, bodies of law or a president, the original colonists who risked their lives to build a new colony signed a document showing they stood firm in the Lord and His word. The Mayflower Compact.

The colonists trusted in the goodness of God. They understood and believed Him to be faithful and gracious to those who followed Him and for four hundred years God has done that.
John 10:9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
Those courageous men and women abandoned a life ruled and controlled by an earthly king in England; they chose instead to trust in our heavenly King. Then they sailed across the ocean and God faithfully anchored them in a new land living life devoted to God.
Pilgrims not only believed in God’s blessing over their new country, they also believed in His wrath.
John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
America, if we are to continue receiving blessings of peace, prosperity, protection and God’s overall providence, we must continue to follow the path laid by or forefathers and devote ourselves to Jesus Christ–The Way, The Truth and The Light.
