Sometimes we need to Confront, to do God’s Work!

I miss the efforts of Sarah Sanders in Washington. For those of you who don’t know, Sarah Sanders is the former Press Secretary to President Trump. She spent over two years explaining, defending, and reminding the press core and America of all aspects of President Trump’s words, actions and tweets.

Her job was not one I envied. She was verbally beaten daily by the press core and liberals both before and after standing at the podium. Verbally beaten to the point that she and her husband were refused service at The Red Hen restaurant in Virginia, and asked to leave, because of her association with President Trump. Verbally beaten, by “comedian” Michelle Wolfe at the White House Correspondents Dinner, by degrading Sarah’s appearance, calling her a liar, and insulting her southern heritage.

“I believe in the Bible.”

But Sarah remained calm during both assaults. Her calmness no doubt stems from her public statement—”I believe in the Bible.”  Sarah, along with her husband Bryan and their children, attend an evangelical church in Washington D.C. I believe it is Sarah’s faith in the Bible that sustained her during those verbal beatings, and during her time as WH Press Secretary.

Evil never chooses to relinquish its grasp—on anyone. And evil always attacks with force to kill, steal and destroy.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Evil seeks our weakness. Evil hopes we forget that God is on our side.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

What is evil trying to destroy in you right now?

Sarah worked in Washington, D.C., the central point of power in our country. So of course evil is at constant war with our Capitol, striking at all our forefathers fought to build. But what is evil trying to destroy in your life? Is it your marriage, job, or relationships? Your finances or health? Is evil attacking your church, your mental stability, or your self worth?

Followers of Jesus Christ need to remember—the evil attacks all believers. And the only way to eradicate evil is by confrontation through Christ. We can’t confront evil alone, and we certainly can’t be meek and naive, expecting evil to…just go away.

“Frankly, if people of faith don’t get involved in the dirty process, then you’re missing the entire point of what we’re called to do,” Sanders said. “I’m not going to my office expecting it to be my church.”

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Evil never just goes away on his own.

Evil is always out to destroy. In order to eradicate evil, because it continually surrounds us, one must become aware and acknowledge the evil. Yes, it’s a dirty process to acknowledge porn addition, cheating on your spouse, loosing the savings money to gambling, drug addiction, or perpetual lying. But if we ignore the situation, we are not doing God’s work.

“You’re not called to go into the places where everyone already thinks like you and is a believer — you have to go onto a stage where they’re not. You have to take that message into the darkest places, and the dirtiest places, and the most tainted and dysfunctional places. If you can influence even one person, that’s what you’re supposed to do,”

Don’t be afraid to confront when you do God’s work!

Use God’s Word To Fight Against Evil!

Anyone battling evil right now, I have a message for you—Use God’s Word In The Battle! When Jesus was tempted three times by satan in the desert, each time Jesus rebuked satan by saying “IT IS WRITTEN…”. Jesus quoted God’s holy Word to fight against satan. In the end satan ran away.

Satan lost his presumption when Jesus claimed God’s word, and you have that same power. Go into a room, shut the door, be loud and tell satan he has no power/no claim over your marriage, your job, your relationships! Tell him your finances and your health belong to Jesus Christ! Reclaim your church, your mental stability, and your self worth, and state to satan he has no business in your business!

    • Thank you for reading my post. And yes, “ALL things happen for a reason – to The glory of God.” But I must say I do not ever give glory to God as a “Sister”. God has no physical characteristics. However, He chose to reveal Himself to us in a human form we can understand – a male. Scripture contains approximately 170 references to God as “Father.” And Jesus also only refers to God using masculine pronouns: I and the Father are one.” John 10:30 So I can not give glory to God by referring to Him as a sister. If you would like to read more on why I believe this, please check my post God Is Not A Woman I wrote it in reference to a pop song that had just been released. Again, thank you for reading and all glory to God.
