If Jesus really is the Son of God...

Jesus, who was crucified at age thirty-three, spent the last three years of His life on earth traveling the areas of Galilee, Samaria and Judea. His purpose was to share His identity as the way, the truth and the light of God.  

Even while Jesus was a young child of twelve, everyone who heard Him was amazed at His understanding and His answers while discussing scripture.  

Jesus, who has the power of heaven within Him, could have saved Himself from the agony of the cross but He chose to suffer.  Why, people want to know, did this “man” do this? Continue reading →

5 tips on sharing your faith

When the opportunity arrises to share Jesus with others, which Christians are called to do, many ideas pass through our minds.  Ideas concerning not how great accepting Jesus will make the other person  “feel”, but on how that person’s possible rejection of Jesus will make us “feel”.

Do you know Jesus loves you?

You’ve probably heard the song,  Jesus Loves Me, as a child growing up. Most likely you sang it in Sunday School. There is a beautiful rendition of Whitney Houston singing it on GodTube.

How to know you have eternal life

The last seven weeks have been devoted to sharing the person of Jesus. The posts explain who He is, why He came down to us, and what He did for us through His death on the cross.

Most critically,  the posts point to the need to believe that three days after Jesus’ death on Calgary hill,  He rose from the dead, then forty days later ascended into heaven!

Yes!

Absolute biblical recordings reveal God punished those who did not believe or obey what He said. And He rewarded or blessed those who believed His word, following His commands.  

The Old Testament shares with us the prophets, those who spoke to the nation of Israel, disclosing His message to them. The prophets did not use their own words,  only the words spoken to them from God.
