Allow Holy Spirit To Lead You

“Being filled and led by the Spirit may take you places you never planned; but the will of God will never lead you where the grace of God cannot keep you. “

Neil T. Anderson, Victory Over Darkness (1990)

Fifty days after Christ’s resurrection, just as He said someone would come, Holy Spirit appeared. Holy Spirit came that He might indwell in the hearts of all God’s children.

The moment you accept Christ as the living savior, Holy Spirit enters your heart. His job as part of the Trinity – Father, Son, Holy Spirit – is to continually remind you to be more like Christ.

Holy Spirit is that little voice in your head telling you not to sin. He is also that little voice in your head telling you to do good. In other words, Holy Spirit’s job is to help you be more like Christ.

Because Holy Spirit knows your weakness and your strength, He diligently works through both traits. He never leads you astray; He never leads you from God’s grace.

Romans 8:13-16 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.

Allow Holy Spirit to lead you. He lives within, guiding all closer to the Lord, making that relationship intimate, allowing us to call God, “Abba, Father.”

ARE YOU A FOLLOWER OF JESUS

Have you invited Jesus into your heart? Now is the perfect time. Pray this sinner’s prayer found at Gotquestions.com

“God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen.”

Blessings to you as you receive redemption through Jesus.
