“It is a great thing to enter the inner chamber, and shut the door, and meet the Father in secret. It is a greater thing to open the door again, and go out, in an enjoyment of that presence .”
– Andrew Murray, The Prayer Life (1912)
It’s a trust relationship, our relationship with God.
We trust Him with our most intimate thoughts. We privately confess our weakness, self-doubt, anxiety, __________ (fill in the blank). Though God knows all before we utter a word, He is pleased with our confession.
God is always ready to commune, to relate with us. Whatever your request may be, His desire is that we receive comfort in His faithful presence. True comfort, His comfort, comfort “which nothing can disturb”. Comfort we can take wherever we may go.
Psalm 145:17-19 The LORD is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.
Trust in the Lord.
Call to Him, confess to Him, then feel the intimacy of His presence throughout your day.
ARE YOU A FOLLOWER OF JESUS?
Have you invited Jesus into your heart? Now is the perfect time. Pray this sinner’s prayer found at Gotquestions.com.
“God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!”
Blessings to you as you receive redemption through Jesus.
