“I have yet to find that God ever uses a man who is all the time looking on the dark side, and talking about the obstacles and looking at them, and who is discouraged and cast down.”
– D. L. Moody, The Faithful Saying (1877)
No one wants to be around negativity – its harms the psyich. Negative speech creates stress. It leads to more obstacles, festers self-doubt.
God wants us to lift each other up in times of trouble.
Matthew 12:36-37 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."
Are you that negative person in the room that no one comes to for advise?
If so, instead of adding fuel to the fire, start offering words of encouragement to others. In time you will notice God specifically placing people with problems in your path because you now offer help not helplessness.
ARE YOU A FOLLOWER OF JESUS?
Have you invited Jesus into your heart? Now is the perfect time. Pray this sinner’s prayer found at Gotquestions.com.
“God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!”
Blessings to you as you receive redemption through Jesus.
