Speak JESUS Over 2022

Are you ready for change? I know I am. 2020 and 2021 were years of uncharterd stress. Folks suffered individual trials as difficulties flourished. The world as a whole experienced great unwanted change.

In my small circle of life I witnessed or heard of the goings-on of family and friends as they navigated 2020 and 2021. It wasn’t easy and thankfully those years are over and done.

Now 2022 is about to begin. New years offer new beginnings. Let’s leave them behind and enter anew, a new day, by making a decision for change.

A change to purposefully, profusely, and properly speak Jesus in 2022!

The name, Jesus, holds power.

Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The name, Jesus, offers hope and healing.

No other name holds the power of Jesus. It breaks every chain of addiction, restores shattered relationships, reduces tempers, transforms confused identities, bears peace during mourning, reverses fear, overflows with love, redeems sin, instills patience, it proceeds us into unknown territory, reclaims lost children, orders evil to depart, and strengthens the weary.

We associate all these things, and more, to the name, Jesus, because of His miracles witnessed here on earth, and because of all the prophesies written about Him which came true. The name, Jesus, accessible to all who approach Him; He is ready to place joy in the hearts of anyone overwhelmed by uncomfortable circumstances.

The name, Jesus, does all this and so much more.

Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Because Jesus has all authority He can not be contained. He is everywhere at all times, waiting for you to come to Him. If you want to remove 2022 from the darkness of 2020 and 2021, then speak Jesus over the new year!

Purposefully, profusely, and properly speak Jesus in 2022.

Purposefully set aside time for prayer. Show Him you’ve made the effort to invite Him into your day, everyday, at a specific time, just to be with Him.
Profusely offer Him the worship and glory He alone deserves: for His death on the cross, for His unending mercy and grace.
Properly pray. Prayer isn’t all about wants. Prayer includes thankfulness for how God blesses each day.

Be thankful for all circumstances. Thankful for what we are given (much of which we’ve taken for granted). Prayer brings us in closer relationship to God, allowing us to better understand and feel the power of the name, Jesus.

Luke 10:17 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”

When you begin praying purposefully, profusely, and properly–you can expect results. The new year 2022 does not have to continue in the darkness of the two previous years.

Speak Jesus over 2022, and allow yourself to move from darkness to light. Jesus is the name above all names because Jesus Christ is Lord!

Romans 10:13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
