Who Is The Real Accuser?

Are you afraid to call on Jesus because you believe He accuses and condemns? If you answered yes, you are not alone. Many believe that lie. Folks don’t realize the true difference between Jesus and satan: the One offers us love and hope, the other seeks to steal, kill and destroy.

Don’t be fooled by the other!

Watch my short video to better understand who your friend and confidant really is–the One who loves you most. Versus the other who chooses to condemn all thoughts and actions as evil.

Jesus is our savior, satan is our accuser.

The accuser

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

The thief, the accuser, entices us to believe momentary self-gradafication is meaningful, however momentary is just that–for the moment. Any happiness we receive from selfish actions is eventually gone, stolen, while Jesus offers a full life that lasts from the moment we receive Him through eternity.

Jesus Our Savior

Jesus Is Our Savior

1 John 2:1-2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

Jesus, not the accuser, is The One who laid down His life to pay for our sin. He is our defender. Jesus did this so that we may have life everlasting in heaven. Why? Because He truly loves us.

Jesus Versus The accuser

Matthew 4:1-11 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ”

Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “ ’He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’ ” Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’ ”

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’ “

Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

Don’t be fooled into thinking the accuser won’t try to tempt you. The accuser even tried tempting Jesus, the Son of God. In situations of temptation we need to be more like Jesus and trust in scripture, His holy word which we learn from.

The accuser Is A Looser

The accuser is the looser!

Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.

In the end it’s the accuser who’s the looser. The accuser accuses and condemns us, not Jesus. Jesus is The One who saves us. The accuser is the other who will be punished for all eternity for his role of sin against God.

Don’t be fooled by the other. Trust in Jesus, as scripture tells us, to offer you full life and atonement for sin.
