God Loves You!

Last week’s post explained who, as we stand before God, is the real accuser of sin–For the accuser [satan] of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.

It is satan, continuing both day and night, who accuses–not God. God loves you! He sent His one and only son to die a sacrificial death so that we may have life eternal. If you don’t believe in this gift please know that at any moment, on any day, whether it’s the very best day of your life or the very worst day, God is right there with you. He stands near, simply waiting for you to accept the truth of His love.

Watch the following video that explains more of God’s love for you:

God Loves You!

As God perfectly put you together, He also laid out the perfect plan for your life.

Psalm 139:13-16 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

We exist not because God needed us, but because He loves.

God, who created all, could have chosen to exist without any of us. He does not need anything from anyone. Yet He chose to create us, knowing full well we would sin against Him. And He not only lovingly created us but he also provided for all our needs, including our need for a sinless sacrifice–Jesus.

Acts 17:24-28 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.

From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’

God loves us and desires us to love Him back, just as we desire our own children to love us back. For it is from Him we were made, and in Him we exist.

God loves so very much, He sent His son to be nailed to the cross.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

God’s love is not self-centered, (7 Reasons Jesus Came To Die For You.) His love, offered to all who choose to accept it, was displayed when Jesus gave of Himself to be nailed to the cross. If you have not yet accepted the love of God in your heart I encourage you pray this sinner’s prayer right now taken from Gotquestions.com:

“God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!”
