Here’s some important information I want to confirm to you, just in case you have any doubts as you start 2019:
God Loves You!
That’s right! God absolutely loves you, and He proclaims that love in many ways:
❤️God called you.
Romans 8:28 And we know in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
❤️God has a plan for you.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
❤️God made promises to you.
Hebrews 11:11 And by faith even Sarah, who was past child bearing years, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who made the promise.
❤️God desires you to believe Him.
James 1:6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
❤️God wants to bless you.
Proverbs 8:34-35 Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For those who find me find life and receive favor from the LORD.
I encourage you to reflect on how previous years began for you. Can you remember if you put Christ first in your life in years past?
If you did put Christ first, did you carry through worshipping Him in all things as the year progressed? Or did you just give Jesus a January and perhaps part of a February, then allowed your commitment and love for Him to slowly fade into an “as needed basis?”
Please know that Jesus never forgets or ignores you. In fact, Jesus gave you more than His time — Jesus gave you His life:
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
As 2019 progresses, remember:
- God called you
- God has a plan for you
- God made promises to you
- God wants you to believe Him and
- God desires to shower His blessings upon you.
Put Jesus first in your life, and you will surly feel the blessings of His love this 2019!
