7 Ways Jesus Offers Love!

7 ways Jesus offers love!

Scripture offers us many examples of Jesus loving on the poor, the sick, the lame, the outcasts, and also those in mourning.

Nothing Jesus did was done in secret. All of his acts of loving kindness were witnessed by others. Often, the groups of witnesses included people who hated Jesus, such as the:

  • Pharisees
  • Teachers of the Law
  • Local Religious Leaders

Those so called “priests” were threatened by Jesus’ way of life; the way He healed others, the words He spoke. Their thoughts were too often Jesus’ actions contradicted Jewish Law or tradition.

But facts are facts. Jesus preformed all the acts of kindness the Bible shares with us. And there is no denying thousands of people heard Jesus speak and saw Him preform many miracles that displayed His deep love and concern for those in need.

Eyewitnesses wrote about Jesus’ actions for the very reason that future generations would have access to the love of our savior, Jesus Christ.

Here are seven scriptures exemplifying Christ’s love

1.Jesus helps sinners :

Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:31-32

2.Jesus forgives sin :

He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:46-47

3.Jesus gives eternal life :

I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.John 10:28

4.Jesus heals the sick :

That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed. The whole town gathered at the door, and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was. Mark 1:32-34

5. Jesus socializes with outcasts :

While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. Mark 2:15

6.Jesus has compassion :

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36

7. Jesus offers comfort :

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?  John 14:1-2

8.Jesus has authority over death :

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Matthew 28:5-6

Are you feeling the love Jesus offers you today? If yes, share it with others. Jesus’ love is to precious for us to keep to ourselves.

Jesus’ cup of love overflows. He gave it to us to drink in, then pass on to another.

Like the scriptures say:

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35

  1. The Word of God speaks, all the way through, of His great love for us. I don’t think we will truly understand His love this side of heaven. This is beautify, Thank you!
