AMERICA, Call God’s Power Over All Things

God’s presence is power. Once we understand and accept God’s power, once we “get it”, there will be no force strong enough to defeat us. Understanding God’s power…acknowledging His authority over mankind…is how we rise above the chaos our nation faces.

Often, citizens suffer from powerless leadership. Or, we experience confusion from leaders that neglect their duties. Church leaders, like national leaders, need to demonstrate strength. Church leaders should not hold back acknowledging historic current affairs on the platform, for fear of negative response. They should not hold back from publicly calling out to God for speciic members of American government in need of prayer. Congregants look to our pastors for leadership.

I was at church this past Sunday, the Sunday after an attempt to assassinate former President Trump. No mention came from my church stage on this topic. No mention of thanks to God for saving the life of a former and possibly next president. No thanks for God’s power in that half-inch space between the former president’s ear and his brain.

What a beautiful thing that happened for Donald Trump: The power of God overcame an evil situation. The almighty, all encompassing, merciful power of God saved a man’s life. Though my church neglected to mention it, a miracle occurred in Butler, Pennsylvania this past Saturday. Thank you, LORD! And the Good News is – you too can proclaim God’s power.

Call on God’s power to reign over your life. Call on God’s power to reign over our nation. Call on God to surround you (as He did President Trump) and to surround our nation. We only need a half-inch layer of His power. That’s all we need. That’s the layer of power God placed between a soaring bullet that hit President Trump’s ear, and preventing it from entering the former president’s brain. God’s power is protection from evil. Evil like a bullet.

And after you call for His power, let others know you did it. Let others know the power of God surrounds you, and it is available to them as well.

2 PETER 1:3-4 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

When you call on God’s power to envelope you, take a moment, take a deep breath, wait and feel Him surround your heart. He is there, He has been waiting, His desire is to be with you.

God’s power abounds for those who initiate and live in true relationship with Him. From the beginning of our history, which started with the Mayflower Compact, America initiated a relationship with God.

Last month I posted, Pray As A Nation For Our Nation – 9 PM EST Every Night. This post offers citizens of the United States the chance to regain a personal relationship with God. A relationship that families, churches, businesses and the government have allowed to fade over the years.

Each night at 9 PM Eastern, 8 PM Central, 7 PM Mountain, or 6 PM Pacific, stop whatever you are doing and spend 1 minute in prayer specifically for our nation. Pray with confidence God will: redeem our government, protect our troops, engage our citizens in righteousness, bring peace, oversee elections, restore biblical principles in Washington DC, retain biblical principles as the basis for laws in our land, and for Christianity to flourish abundantly in the U.S.

Pray that America glorifies God.

AMERICA – Pray Together For Our Nation @ 9 PM EST Every Night

Help America regain God’s power. The power to bring life to families, truth to churches, dependability to businesses, and honesty to government. May God’s power overcome the evil America is currently challenged with and may that same power, all half-inch of it, surround you each day.

ARE YOU A FOLLOWER OF JESUS?

Have you invited Jesus into your heart? Now is the perfect time. Pray this sinner’s prayer found at Gotquestions.com

“God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen.”

Blessings to you as you receive redemption through Jesus.

  1. I was in church praying for our country when Trump was nearly assassinated. At first, I wondered why that attempt wasn’t prevented (with my prayers). But then I was grateful because had he been killed we could have had another violent episode like January 6th, and perhaps, now Trump will speak a little less of being violent. I’m not sure about the latter though after his first words being to, “fight, fight, fight,” and not thank the Lord or is everyone alright?

    • Ben Shapiro put out a good video commenting on President Trump raising his fist and yelling, “Fight” as blood runs down his face from his ear. Shapiro states President Trump has innate fight instincts, as opposed to flight instincts. He demonstrated to the crowd, to the cameras, to America, he was not bowing to a bullet. President Trump does not run from indictments from attorneys, felony charges, false document storage accusations, or years of attacks from the main stream media against him, his administration, and his family-including when Baron was only 9 years old. President Trump is a fighter to the core, and I believe that is how God designed him to be, knowing that He would place President Trump in a position that no other man/woman could emotionally, financially, mentally or physically endure at this time in America. Of the seventeen Republican candidates that ran against President Trump in 2016, I don’t believe any of them could have endured all the evil spewed against President Trump as well as he has.

  2. I think the fact that the bullet grazed him speaks volumes. Neither Donald Trump nor anyone else can deny it was the grace of God, the hand of God, whatever they wish to call it, that saved him. As a Brit, I was glad he was ok. I wish we had someone who wanted to make Britain Great again! He does have pride and is a bit too outspoken at times, but King David was an adulter and murderer, yet still a man after God’s own heart! God can use anyone to achieve his purposes. Not sure if it’s totally appropriate, but these verses came to mind…
    1 Corinthians 1:26-29 NKJV
For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. [27] But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; [28] and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, [29] that no flesh should glory in His presence.

    • God’s power of protection. I like your verse. Have you read any Rabbi Jonathan Cahn books? In The Paradigm, Cahn likens Donald J. Trump to Jehu the warrior in the Bible. They are both men of controversy, both came from outside the realm of politics, neither man is gentle-they are both coarse, both were known leaders in other fields before entering government, both are warriors. Jehu was dedicated to strategy and conquest just as Trump is dedicated. Jehu first appears in 2 Kings 9:2. Jehu boasted, as does President Trump. Both are bold and daring. And both do what they set out to do – conquer evil.

  3. There is a Satanic fear hovering over so many churches to say anything to offend anyone or to stir up any discussion on anything political. I think we should pray against this fear–particularly with the church leaders. It is unnatural and demonic.

    • My church did put out a Pray For our Nation FB post on Monday or Tuesday. Nothing wrong with that…we should definitely be praying for the border crisis, families to afford food, for our government to figure out what a woman is, etc. But to not give thanks/give acknowledgment that a former president survived an assassination on national television isn’t right. There is no offending anyone here. Everyone should be thankful a man was not murdered. Everyone (except children) in the room no doubt saw a replay of the act. I watched Greg Laurie’s service the following day. He walked out to the podium and said thank-you President Trump was not killed. To me, that’s what we all expected to hear.
