Priscilla Shirer reminds us, in her powerful message of the teachings of the Apostle Paul, that as children of God we have power over the enemy.

Christians are blessed with Holy Spirit, who comes within us the moment we believe in the power of the blood of Jesus. Thus, that power of Jesus is passed on to us. Christians have the blessing of full spiritual blessings, which we are to use to fight against the enemy.

The enemy wants you to believe you have no control over family feuds. That’s a lie! Know the enemy is satan, not your aunt or cousin. Satan uses them as tools. Satan creates confusion and stirs animosity wherever he witnesses lack of truth. Claim the power of Jesus to forbid the enemy any hold over your family.

The true enemy is always satan in disguise. And the Bible tells us we can claim victory over any situation that satan may attack us with–through the power of Jesus Christ.

Though we may not always be able to change the attitude of our attacker, we can always change our attitude: how we react to the attack.

Claim peace over your stress. Claim calmness over anxiety. Claim a forgiving heart for the one who hurts you. Claim willpower to get through trials.

Satan, not flesh and blood, wants you to believe you are weak, and that’s a lie! You are a child of God who can do all things through Christ who gives you strength.

EPHESIANS 6:11-13 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Know your true enemy-satan. Don’t believe a word he says. Use the power of Jesus as your strength and stand-firm.
