“Seek Jesus in the morning/Seek Jesus in the noon day hour/Seek Jesus in the evening/Before the sun is going down/He said now ask and it shall be given to you/Seek and ye shall find/Knock and the door will be open to you/And He will come on in answer with you a while”
-written by Debra Snipes, sung by Debra Snipes and the Angels, 2014
Gospel singer Debra Snipes’ lifelong goal was, “to glorify the Lord and sing for Him. She believed that her music was a divine tool, a means to bring people closer to God. Her performances weren’t just concerts; they were spiritual experiences that resonated with her audience.”
Debra recognized her singing as a gift from God. A special gift she was thankful to receive, and happily shared it with others. Her song writing style and soulful voice allowed others to experience the presence of Jesus, just as she did.
Though I never heard Debra sing in person, what a blessing she must have been to all who enjoyed her many songs at her concerts.
Seek Jesus. What a wonderful intention for all who feel lost, guilt, shame.
DEUTERONOMY 4:29-30 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the LORD your God and obey him.
Seek Jesus–those who doubt love, those who have lost their way, those who know no peace.
Seek Jesus–don’t waste anymore time.
Seek Jesus–today, be it morning, noon or night! He will answer you, remain in you, and help you through the suffering.
Don’t believe what that problem you are experiencing is whispering in your ear…that you are not worthy of Jesus. That’s a blatant lie! That’s evil trying to keep you away from the goodness of Jesus. Jesus loves you, no matter your circumstance, and desires that you seek Him to help you through.
Seek Jesus–ask Him into your heart. Pray the following prayer inviting Jesus to be Lord of your life.
ARE YOU A FOLLOWER OF JESUS?
Have you invited Jesus into your heart? Now is the perfect time. Pray this sinner’s prayer found at Gotquestions.com.
“God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen.”
