“Listen to me. Nothing – nothing! – is too far gone that your God cannot resurrect it.”
– Priscilla Shirer, FerVent (2015)
Priscilla Shirer is adamant about keeping spiritual passion alive; as well we all should be. She also knows there is no gain or hope in ourselves when it comes to recovering spiritual loss, if, one should happen to loose it. We need Someone far superior for that recovery job.
If your passion has diminished, (was stolen) through time or circumstance – only through God can you be restored.
Priscilla goes on to say:
“Don’t try to regain it your self. Don’t set your hopes on other people or circumstances to fuse it back into the fiber of your being. Trust it into God’s care. Only His miraculous work can make it bubble back up to the surface where it belongs. And He is more than willing to do it.”
Don’t trust your own power, don’t despair, and don’t back down to negative voices in your mind. The devil knows you need spiritual passion as a Christian. And he will fight you from every angle to prevent you from regaining your spiritual passion on your own.
However, he also knows, he truly can’t keep your spiritual passion from you if you do one specific thing.
The answer to restoration of spiritual passion – Prayer!
Fervent prayer. Give the problem of spiritual loss over to God. Read Bible verses confirming His authority over the situation. Trust He will replenish and refresh you.
PSALM 19:7-8 The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
Keep being a prayer warrior. It strengthens your Godly existence, it brings joy. Never let your guard down with useless chants, remain in His precepts. Stay connected with His word, connect with Him on your knees. Have faith in the great Provider.
ARE YOU A FOLLOWER OF JESUS?
Have you invited Jesus into your heart? Now is the perfect time. Pray this sinner’s prayer found at Gotquestions.com.
“God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen.”
Blessings to you as you receive redemption through Jesus.

I would have to agree with this post as I have seen it first hand, both prayer and trust seemed to be two factors in the miracle I’ve seen.

He pretty much came to me as I was hanging on by a thread. But His supernatural working Self made it strong enough to hold me and keep me attached to Him. I just had to never let go, which I didn’t. I now endeavor to help others to hold onto that thread attached to His hem or maybe the end of His sleave. Yeshua’s Blessings on you and yours.
