Jim Caviezel, who plays true life former government agent Tim Ballard, proclaims in the movie truth that should be obvious – but sadly is not, “God’s children are not for sale.”
The film is heartbreaking, because it’s a story built on real life human trafficking. This story is so sad – it’s a story that should have been told long ago. The location for Sound Of Freedom is largely based in a Colombian city and jungle. Though human trafficking, as defined by the U.S. Department Of State, can occur in one’s own home.
HUMAN TRAFFICKING DEFINED
The Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, as amended (TVPA), defines “severe forms of trafficking in persons” as:
- sex trafficking in which a commercial sex act is induced by force, fraud, or coercion, or in which the person induced to perform such an act has not attained 18 years of age; or
- the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for labor or services, through the use of force, fraud, or coercion for the purpose of subjection to involuntary servitude, peonage, debt bondage, or slavery.
A victim need not be physically transported from one location to another for the crime to fall within this definition.
Sex trafficking, the horror these innocent children experience, some as young as 11, is unimaginable. Thank you to Tim Ballard, the FBI, and other agencies who continue to expose this wicked act perpetrated against children and adults.

Alert….If you haven’t watched Sound Of Freedom, note I write about a few details from the movie…so don’t continue reading if you plan to watch it later. I found her to sound a bit sarcastic as she describes Tim Ballard. He is a hero in my eyes. When she speaks about elite persons being involved in sex traffic rings, Tim Ballard includes that info within Sound of Freedom, when the good guys (pretending to be bad) buy an island so that the rich perverts must pay, what, $100,000.00? to be able to come there and have sex with the children. Ballard, at the movie’s end, shows real life video of that island and the raid that took place. But it’s when she said that she believes ALL the organizations that perceive to combat sex trafficking, are indeed a front FOR sex trafficking – that I turned her off. So I never got to hear her opinion on where she believes the funding for the movie comes from. I think it would be great if the perverted monies the sex traffickers made was in turn used to produce this film, and also given to the saved victims.

This diabolical predatory activity has been going on for decades. So many secrets and dark hidden agendas. I do hope Ballard and Caviezel are not connected to Carlos Slim whose $$$ is traced to Angel Films who made the film — Keeping this in much prayer and believing for truth to win over the tangled web of evil. What dreadful times we live in.

I’m aware of the horrors of trafficking, but I’m not sure I can watch the movie. The only way I know how to help end this line of terror is through prayer.

Mary, I expected to see the worst of mankind acted out in this movie. I was thankful they did not shoot true to life scenes of what happens to these children. The audience knows what’s going on, and it’s heartbreaking, but nothing horrifically visual.

The age is as young as pre-birth as some women are either forced or willing agree to pregnancies that result in infants and older being sexually assaulted through trafficking.

Horrible information, yet truth must be shared. Our border needs secured in order to stop more traffickers from bringing these children through. Especially since America, sadly, statistically has the most perverts participating in child sex.

If what I’m reading is true, the border issue is just a piece of the pie chart. Some of the abuse is propagated through people who understand genetics and conception of people in a lab. They breed people to use and abuse. The only possible good thing about that, is they then don’t need to steal someone else’s kid/family member to use and abuse. But, obviously their lab methods are not satisfying their evil desires enough to stop people from getting abducted.

Maybe I should have used, conception of people in labs. Have you heard of in vitro fertilization? That’s done in a lab. And they can fertilized as many eggs as they can fit in a petri dish.

Human trafficking has been on my heart and in my prayers for years now. I know that this post was written last year but it is an important issue that I pray everyday for it to end. I thank God for all the organizations that help the victims of this horrific crime. Thanks for this post.
