10 Ways God Shows His Love For You!

10 ways God shows His love for you

God is a multi-tasker. At all times He is present everywhere. And because nothing is ever hidden from God, He knows everything there is to know. Hebrews 4:13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Yet through His monumental daily process of creating and sustaining life, God continually devotes time to loving each and everyone of us. “How?,” you may ask.  Read these 10 ways God daily shows His love for you:

1.God focuses entirely on you as long as you need Him. Just call on His name and He hears you. When we tune in and listen to His word, we understand God really desires to help us. Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

2. God knows you well and knows what you need. He helps you conquer problems as if you are the only person He’s assisting today. It is through problems that He wants us to grow in our faith. 1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

3. God patiently draws you closer to Him like a loving father beckons his child. He is eager for us to listen and understand His teaching. Proverbs 4:1-2 Listen, my sons, to a father’s instruction; pay attention and gain understanding. I give you sound learning, so do not forsake my teaching.

4. God continually works on your personal life events. If you know Him you will feel His firm hand intimately in each situation. Whether your situation is pleasant or discouraging, believers know God is always here. Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

5. God gives us relationship directions. Following His direction and sustaining correct attitudes will keep our relationships happy and healthy.  Ephesians 4:2-3 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

6. God comforts those who call to Him, through the Holy Spirit. Peace and joy are never far when we are filled with hope from the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

7. God stays with you if you loose your way. Taking your own path over the one God created for you will get you lost. He patiently waits till you place your trust in Him, as he remains beside us at every step. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

8. God gives support to everyone who has ever grieved loss, because He too has suffered grief. We all suffer loss at sometime in our lives. God promises that He is always with us in our grief. Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

9. God rejoices in fellowship with us. In fact He created us for fellowship. Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

10. God sent His Son to die for you. Believing in this single act promises us love for eternity. John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Imagine trying to accomplish all that everyday! God spends His time tending to your singular needs, yet God is more than a singular thinker. His capabilities are beyond comprehension. Though humans are wonderfully made in God’s image, we are unable to function like God multi-tasks.

Women are considered multi-tackers. Our brains described like a plate of spaghetti; overlapping in different directions at the same time. Mothers know this to be true.

Man’s brain is more like a box, preferably sustaining one idea at a time. Most favor not to be bothered with many problems at once. When one task is finished, their box can be refilled with the next project/idea. My husband’s brain agrees with this process.

God constantly shows His love for us in a variety of ways only He can preform. We will not be privy to understand His process until we meet Him in heaven. We simply need to remember that He loves us.

God loves you at all times and in all ways. Take a moment right now to thank Him for His loving nature that sustains you.

  2. Hello,
I thought your article interesting, but not informative. I guess I should ask what discernable signs does God use to demonstrate His love for us? The things in the article are intangible. Actual proof of God’s love for us. Unanswered prayers doesn’t demonstrate love, unanswered questions doesn’t demonstrate love, complete silence doesn’t demonstrate love, absence doesn’t demonstrate love. I mean things that we can show other people and say “look what God did for us”, how God helped us. Something we can use as proof of God’s love to glorify God through and increase the flock. Looking for tangible proof of God’s love for us.

Thanks and God bless you, in Jesus holy name, Amen.

    • Hello Kenneth,
Thank you for reading my post. I also appreciate your heartfelt question. I don’t know your depth of faith, if you are a new believer of have trusted the word for years, so let me first start with God loves all of us equally, though all our life paths are different.
First and foremost in the Christian faith is we believe God send His son, Jesus-God in the flesh, to die a horrendous death on the cross for the sin of mankind. What an unbelievable demonstration of love for us all, that God loves each of us equally, that He would sacrifice His son as the finial punishment for sin. Jesus did not commit any sin, but you, I, and our brothers and sisters do.
Through Jesus we are redeemed, sinless, in fact the Bible tells us God forgets our sin once we believe and give our hearts to Him. God, perfect and pure, can not be in the presence of sin, yet still created us, still knowing we would sin. That is why He had His plan in place from the beginning for our salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ.
God does love us each the same, but sometimes its through unanswered prayers and unanswered questions that’s His tugging at our hearts to go deeper into His word, develop a deeper relationship with Him.
Not every pray gets the desired answer. I know that in my life. But by faith I believe in a bigger plan, something grander than I can imagine.
Look around, the tall forests, the flying birds, corn and wheat for food, the miracle of a child growing from seed and sperm, think about that.
“Look what God did for us.”
I pray this answer is in someway helpful to you.
God’s tangible love, to me, happens with every breath. He may not tell me why I have MS, or why my daughter was so desperately ill, or how achieve higher earthly success, but that’s ok. I trust His plan and I know He’s always with me through any storm–and here on earth those storms keep coming.

      • Hello Debra,
First let me thank you for your reply, it is appreciated. I have to disagree with your statement that God can’t be in the presence of sin. God proved that He can. All of the apostles were sinners yet God was there in their lives, God spoke with sinners, so He can be near to sin.
Now lets look at the cross. Jesus died and was raised for all mankind, not just for me. Thus freeing mankind from sin. I never saw the events that happened thousands of years ago. As far as I can tell/see God hasn’t done anything in my life to demonstrate His love for me. Just endless silence and lack of involvement is what God shows me. 40+ years of unanswered prayers, unanswered questions, and complete silence. Maybe the question should be; What has God done to demonstrate His love to me, and for me in this lifetime. Just for me? Life is torture without God’s presence in my life. God’s silence is destroying my faith and trust in God. Jeremiah 33:3 says God “will”answer “when” called apon. Since all I get is silence this promise must be a lie. Nothing can stop God from doing what He wants, so He must want to keep ignoring me, breaking my heart and soul. I’m so tired of waiting for God to do what He promises ,but never does. At least with me He doesn’t. So tired of not having prayers answered. So tired of God’s presence being absent in my life. So tired of being stuck in poverty. So tired of this useless, meaningless life. So tired of being disappointed by God. I gave myself to God through Jesus 40+years ago and have never seen, heard, or felt anything from God. The only reason I haven’t given up on God is because I am too stubborn to let go. I have already given up on life. Without God in my life, life isn’t worth living. God’s silence and absence reduces hope to nothing.

  3. Hello Kenneth,
    You are in my prayers.

Sorry, I should have reread my text more carefully. My typing did not follow my thought process, “can not be in the presence of sin, yet still created us, still knowing we would sin” should have been, “should not be in the presence of sin, yet still created us, still knowing we would sin.” My intention was to indicate God loves us all so much, in spite of His total holiness, He chooses to still create us and live among us.

And though you did not see the events of the cross 2000 years ago, it does not matter. The truth of Jesus is documented by witnessed in the Bible and Christians are to live by faith not by sight. Faith is a huge step for some people who rely only on what they see. I did not see Washington cross the Delaware, but there is written documentation by witnesses so I believe this event to be true.

Jesus, our savior, hasn’t given up on you. If you are still questioning, calling, and holding on to Him, there is a reason. He loves you and wants a closer relationship with you. Relationships require work on both sides. You sound like you have knowledge of the Bible and I pray you get into the word more. Try reading the book of John.

As for me, I’m glad I don’t fully understand all that Jesus is or does. I want my savior to reign above human understanding.

You will be in my prayers for peace of heart, mind, and soul.

    • Hello Debra,

Thanks for your reply. Always appreciate replies. You did say something about relationships requiring work/input from both sides. I totally agree with that conclusion. It does take some effort from both sides. I have been praying, talking to, reading the Bible, calling out in despair, thanking, praising, God for 40+ years. In that time I have not seen, heard, or felt anything from God, from His side of the relationship. No one on the other end of the conversation. Dead air. I would like to believe that God would at least contact me in a way that I am going to understand. Thanks again.

God bless you, in Jesus holy name, Amen.
