Christians Can Direct America’s Future – Vote

As Election 2022 comes to pass may we remember to praise His holy name, praise God for the nation He has given us to grow and abound in His presence. Praise Him for past and present leaders and for our 2023 leaders forthcoming for “he deposes kings and raises up others” as He chooses. Praise Him in advance for giving us wisdom to select our leaders just as He did Moses and the Eleven.

Americans, 64% of which proclaim to be Christian, can change the negative road our nation is traveling on in this next election.

VOTE!

Our Purpose In America

God, by His will, creates and purposes all things. The universe contains nothing unknown to Him and nothing can ever be new to Him for all things He creates are for His purpose.

Proverbs 16:4 The LORD has made everything for his own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster.

This post, the third of a nine-part series highlighting one topic from each chapter of The American Covenant – The Untold Story by Dr. Marshall Foster, is dedicated to man’s purpose in America.

Will America abandon God’s purpose for us?

America – Call To Him Who Holds The Power

Since the beauty of Jesus’ resurrection, Christianity continues to expand beyond the walls of Jerusalem. Today, one-third of the world declares themselves Christian. In America that number is higher. According to a 2020 census on religion by the Public Religious Research Institute 70% of Americans claim themselves to be Christian…a follower of Christ.

America, this statistic can redeem our country! God gives Christians all power in Jesus’ name so through Jesus we can call to Him for healing.

America – God Uses Leaders

Esteemed leaders come and go. They live their appointed time to accomplish a critical task then, by natural order, are gone. Some of the greatest leaders are called to forward a nation. Others are called to shepherd industries like science, education, business, or health. Their achievement may last; their being does not. Even religious leaders claim a last breath on earth (though One in particular regained His).

Once leaders depart, eventually, another leader emerges.

Though leaders differ in person and accomplishments they all have something in common:

Christian America – Follow God’s Basic Instruction For Our Nation

Everything comes with instructions. If the goal is to achieve a satisfying outcome we follow instructions. Basic assembly instructions for a newly purchased gas grill or ceiling fan are found in booklet form in the box or are available online. To assure product success we read and follow instructions.

Americans know instructions are readily available online on how to play golf, drive a car, make lasagna, launder a dress, recover from a cold. Even basics on how to apply suntan lotion correctly and how to properly brush teeth are found in the cloud. Everything comes with instructions to follow in order to achieve a satisfying outcome.

So, Christian America, why aren’t we applying that same principle by following God’s instruction (also available in an online Bible) to heal our nation?

Christian Americans – 7 Verses Encouraging Boldness For Christ

The Christian voice in America, over the years, has turned into a whisper. It’s happening in two ways:

  1. Unbelievers are shouting louder than believers for their “constitutional right” to remove God from our beautiful country.
  2. Believers remain quiet.

The current trend of keeping God out of all things American, the unbeliever’s view of separation of church and state, is not the plan our founders had when they birthed America. Of the 56 signers the Declaration of Independence, nearly half (24) held seminary or Bible school degrees. Our leaders had full understanding of the the need for God in America. Back in the day, they shouted those beliefs through America’s founding documents.

7 Verses To Encourage Faith

God is good. Though we may not feel His presence at all times, at all times – His presence is with us.

Feeling His presence is often relative to the location of your walk with God. Do you believe you are close to Him, strolling side by side? Or are you watching from a distance, not understanding His magnificence as He interacts with others?

I encourage you not to remain afar from our LORD but instead boldly approach Him, as others have done, by increasing your faith in who He is. God is patient as He awaits you to grow your faith. As you do this He will warmly welcome you into His presence.

American Christians – Get Out Of The Pit!

Our country cannot save itself – only Jesus the Christ can save us. As we continue to lift ourselves higher, believing we control destiny, living in a my body my choice world, we are falling deeper – quicker – into an unfathomable pit of darkness.

Americans have removed God from classrooms, from churches, from business, diner tables, sports events, youth groups, science, Twitter, FaceBook and from our government. The very Judeo-Christian based America, which men like William Bradford, James Madison, George Washington, Noah Webster, and Robert C. Winthrop labored for, is being trampled on under the disguise of “freedom.”

BEWARE – 8 Names Of Satan

Christians know satan is always on the attack. We know his evil actions come not only in the form of direct hits like personal anxiety and mental exhaustion. Satan takes on many forms. He maneuvers and manipulates anyway he can, hoping we take our eyes off the Word and focus only on the problem.

The devil’s intentions, always concealed, are never for our good, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;”.

Thankfully, by keeping our eyes on the Word we learn satan’s wicked ways. Through diligent scripture reading we can prepare to recognize evil’s purposeful assaults agains us.

Do You Know God?

If you’re a Christian you’re answering, “Of course I know God.”

You’re thinking, “I go to church, usually. I donate money to charity…visit my elderly neighbor, and I’m not a drinker like my boss.”

Those traits are definitely all good things, but do you know God intimately, in a way to get you through a tough situation?

There’s a story I heard a long time ago that is relative to this topic:
