Evangelical pollster George Barna says, “Christian voters who have historically been key players in determining the outcome of presidential races” are not voting.

Why?

Why, in an important presidential election such as 2024, are Christian voters neglecting to participate? If Christians do not make our voice heard, do not choose between two extremely different candidates – then evil does the choosing.

PROVERBS 29:2 When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.

Christians should know where these two opposing candidates stand on core issues and vote accordingly :

TRUMP: Supports religious freedom HARRIS: Opposes religious freedom

TRUMP: Opposes late-term abortion HARRIS: Supports late-term abortion

TRUMP: Opposes abortion funding HARRIS: supports abortion funding

TRUMP: Opposes gender ideology HARRIS: supports gender ideology

TRUMP: Opposes men in women’s sports HARRIS: Supports men in women’s sports

TRUMP: Supports energy independence HARRIS: Opposes energy independence

TRUMP: Opposes eliminating private healthcare HARRIS: Supports eliminating private healthcare

TRUMP: Supports voter citizenship and voter ID HARRIS: Opposes voter citizenship and voter ID

TRUMP: Supports Supreme Court Justices who adhere to the Framers’ intent of the Constitution HARRIS: Opposes Supreme Court Justices who adhere to the Framers’ intent of the Constitution

TRUMP: Opposes Green New Deal HARRIS: Supports Green New Deal

These are just some of the issues where the Trump and Harris teams have opposing views, opposing views that are so far apart they will alter the path America was founded upon.

If good does not oppose evil, then evil takes over. It’s that simple. If goodness doesn’t protect itself, then badness does overrun it.

If Christians neglect our duty to cast our vote against gender ideology, abortions as late as 9 months, religious instruction, open borders, oil dependence… we are in fact voting for these very things we detest.

Think of our Bible studies. God often uses people not always seen as righteous to do His will. God used David a murderer, Rahab a prostitute, Samson a womanizer, Noah a drunk, Jacob a cheater, Peter who denied Jesus three times, Zacchaeus who was greedy… there is a long list.

God does not only use Bible instructors to do His will.

You may not like the attitude or words a candidate uses against their opponent, but look beyond that. Look what they have already achieved for America, look that they are in opposition of evil ways against our children and what is normal, and trust they will do it again.

Christians, be a “key player” in deciding the vote on November 5. Your vote matters!
