“It is time to realize that we need God more than He needs us…. Let us, young and old, join together, as did the First Continental Congress, in first step, in humble heartfelt prayer. Let us do so for the love of God and His great goodness, in search of His guidance and the grace of repentance, in seeking His blessings, His peace, and the resting of His kind and holy hands on ourselves, our nation, our friends in defense of freedom, and all mankind, now and always.”
– President Ronald Reagan, Speech to American People (1986)
President Reagan knew America needed to esteem the importance of God in our nation. He knew on our own, mankind is nothing; we are created by God, for God, so to Him belong honor, glory and praise.
Lest we forget: God provides, mankind does not.
When one looks to God, one realizes He provides the ground we stand on, seeds to grow in that ground, and water for nourishment. God provides animals; animals fed by us, and animals that feed us. God provides the sun, moon and stars. Everything with breath God provides, also everything we see and touch. And the beauty, the magnificence, is – God provided it from nothing.
Our part, as commanded by God, is to care for what He creates. He has entrusted us to be earth’s caretakers, and we have but one earth.
Mankind can not create a seed that will one day grow into a mighty tree, it’s lumber used for homes to live in. Nor can mankind create food to nourish ourselves… unless… we initiate the process with matter already created… by God!
God, the creator, created from nothing.
Mankind is useless without the original blessings God continually provides.
Thank-you, LORD, for the food I eat, the sun that warms me, the air in my lungs. You alone are the great provider. Thank-you for your faithfulness, patience, and love, through generations. All honor, glory and praise to you for your perfect creation! Amen
Psalm 105:1-7 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore. Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen. He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth. (KJV)

Have you invited Jesus into your heart? Now is the perfect time. Pray this sinner’s prayer found at Gotquestions.com.
“God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen.”
Blessings to you as you receive redemption through Jesus.
